Tomorrow is July 1, and it’s the first day of my 1-week trial run of meditation. I’m shooting for 15 minutes of simple meditation in the morning — lots of relaxed breathing and maybe repeating a focus word.
I’m interested to see how I’m going to do with that. I’m pretty damn good at being energetic and excited, but not so skilled at being still. The idea of having focused, calm energy is very appealing. Seems powerful.
Tomorrow a.m. is my first attempt. I’ve got my visualization plans made, and I know just where I’m going to sit. Even got a pink timer to count off the minutes…
