It’s 7:00 a.m. and my alarm didn’t go off for some inexplicable reason. Which means I slept through both my CrossFit Women class at 6:00 and the 6:30 Bootcamp I could have attended in its place if I’d woken up just a little bit earlier.
Not an auspicious start to the day.
I intend to do my a Mel-ified Filthy Fifty today as a make-up because I’m not physically or mentally ready for another rest day already. (Confession time: I didn’t workout at all over this past weekend or on Monday. That’s just wrong. So wrong.)
The last time I did my modified Filthy Fifty was July 2, 2008, and it was a situation much like today: I’d missed my morning workout then turned the day around with a big ol’ FF.
This is my plan for later:
The (Mel-ified) Filthy Fifty
50 box jump, 18-inch box
50 band pullups
50 dumbbell swings, 20 lbs.
50 walking lunge, 15 lb. weight overhead
50 knees to elbows
50 push press, 15-lb. dumbbells
50 med ball slams, 10 pound ball
100 jump rope
25 med ball cradles
25 knee slams+overhead situp
