Prague Dispatch – 10/16/11
I just have time for a quick post before I hit the pillow — workout #3 at CrossFit Praha tomorrow.
We’ve been enjoying the cool weather and a few days ago, it went from good to perfect: clear blue skies, brilliant sunshine, and daytime temps in the 50s. My favorite weather.
After a magical weekend in Cesky Krumlov, we enjoyed a lazy Sunday here in the sunny CZ. After a late breakfast, we spent almost the entire day sitting on a bench in Vysehrad park with a picnic and our journals.
Here are a few snaps ’til I can visit with you again:
At the top of the castle tower in Cesky Krumlov. (We climbed 162 twisty, turny stone and wooden stairs to get there.)

A walk along the Vltava River today in Prague.

An old train station in the Vysehrad neighborhood in Prague.

Bedrich Smetana‘s final resting place atop Vysehrad. (He’s in good company, and I like to think of all the artistic spirits, arguing about politics and listening to the church bells.)
