Smupdate! December 24, 2012
Sometimes, when I’m hard at work typing and thinking, or cooking, or just generally trying to get ahead in the world, I take a break to see what Smudge is up to. Sometimes, she comes to me. And sometimes, she just tries to hide behind stuff.
Seriously. Smudge thinks she can hide behind the Christmas holly.
This is what I see just before she launches a sneak attack on me.
I’m firmly on Team Smudge, but I’m also very much For Dogs — dig these Christmas doggies.

Oh, I know you know this but the mother in me can’t help but say this–holly plants are poisonous to pets if ingested.
